Sweet Lies
Look into my eyes
I want you to realize
All the pain I've known
Caused by the hate that you've shown
All the suffering I've seen
As you use your metal to lower the populous mean
You show us how weak and cowardice you truly are
By only attacking those that you out-power by far
You look into our eyes and feed sweet lies
We cry out for more
Eventually you'll empty the store
And then you'll have to tell us the truth
And drill out the cavities you gave to us in our innocent youth
Then maybe you will finally realize
You can't justifiably just silence our cries
You need to let us weep
The teach us to sweep
Yet not under the rugs
But to clean it out and kill all the bugs
Let us deal with the mistakes
That our forefathers made
So that our next generation
Won't have to deal with the expectation
Of us looking into their innocent eyes
And feeding them sweet sweet lies
