Words to a Friend
I am safe, sound, and secure.
My words and thoughts are full.
But there is a void inside your mind
That reeks pleasantly of ignorance and impurity
So absent minded,
Your opinions are nothing
But tasteless accusations and lifeless breaths.
Trapped inside a fog so thick
Unable to escape or claw your way out
You don’t ask for help
Your pride, like a garden weed,
Entrenched in your heart
Beats you down when you try to surrender
It grabs hold of you
And manipulates your ability
To understand the simplicity of reality.
You are trapped inside a fog.
I am tired of your hypocrisy,
Your dishonest tongue slithering out of your mouth.
I’m done with you.
I am completely exhausted of you.
