My Hero

Shall I compare you to a true hero?
You are not buff like a barbarian,
You can sometimes be the biggest zero,
You are powerless, a civilian,
You do not get a superhero name,
At times their features have to be hidden,
You don’t get what they hate the most, the blame,
Sometimes they are treated like an alien,
People revolve around you just like them,
You are kind you believe everyone matters,
The qualities you show shine like a gem,
When I look in your eyes sadness shatters,
Just like a hero you don’t betray,
Just like they do you stole my heart away
