Words of Love
You ask for words that show great emotion,
With depth and the dignity of a knight,
Yet how will this happen with no potion?
You seek love which is brighter than light,
With your royal eyes, so, so, elegant,
And your skin as soft as a rose pedal,
That makes my sins finally bring repent,
Your features sure do deserve a medal,
I shall say you are the beauteous moon,
Against the nearly eternal sky,
I shall say you will always make me swoon,
And your innocent lips ready to lie,
You conflict my emotions and conscience,
I’ve loved you since we met and since.
