Stuck to You
Your smile’s like the sun in morning light
But blinding to the point of no return.
I lose my strength, I lose the will to fight.
Your fiery words, they always seem to burn.
You hold me all together, superglue,
Yet how I fall apart is your design.
You break me down, I question what is true,
But pain is just the way I am defined.
I'm in too deep, there's no returning now;
I care about you more than I can bear.
Escape is never something you'd allow.
Despite it all, I wouldn't even dare.
You're selfish, blunt, and harsher than the cold,
But love from you will be returned tenfold.
