Horizon
This book is about how 8 kids are making it through a dessert going through a harsh environment. Facing through its harsh weather and monster through the time they have to go through. They adventure out far from each other trying to find answers for why they are there. They’re going to try to face problems.
Horizon Deadzone was a book that will make you sit at the edge of your seat. It’s pack with intense parts in the book all around. There was a lot of things attacking them at one time in the book. She put everything together at the end of the story. Something else I enjoyed in the book was that every character in the book has their own background story and different personality. All the characters have similar development through the story. It was also good that they all collaborate with each other to find help and survive. The last thing I liked was a character named Yoshi I liked him because he was a lone-wolf he was heroic and adventures, but what really dragged me to liking him was how he was flawed. “No, there isn’t any food and I don’t want to hear any complaints” (Jennifer 4) Yoshi said that.
The things I dislike about the book was that the word-building in it was simple and nothing complex about it. The end was a bit of plateaued.. The thing I didn’t like about it too was that the focused too much on the characters relationships with each other as they try to escape. You can also predict what might happen next in the plot that really spoiled most action scenes that’s going to happen that could’ve been done better and not give away a bunch of the plot. The scenes are all happening at the same time and could’ve been better divided up in the story. Other things it didn’t have rich abundance of life or scenery, but some of it was okay because of the action of it. It was a good book overall, but could’ve been more exiting.
I recommend you reading this book if you’re into more of an adventure, suspense, and action book packed into one adventure where they explore the place they are looking for. Suspense from deciding what they are going to. Action included from them fighting off hordes If you are into any those genres I highly recommend you reading the book.
